One of our experienced engineers will carefully remove the old digitizer from you Apple iPad. We will then thoroughly clean off any fragments of glass left behind and the left over glue. If your iPad is badly damaged we may need to file the edges down. This is to ensure the new digitizer sits flat otherwise the touch screen will not function properly. Upon booking the iPad in an engineer will evaluate the damage and advise you.
Prior to fitting the new digitizer, we will test the camera, home button, wireless, speaker and microphone to make sure everything is working as it should be. We will then stick down the new digitizer and retest. And once the glue has hardened we will retest again.
Once your iPad has been repaired, upon your agreement PC Help will fit a tempered glass screen protector to help prevent this from happening again. We also have a selection of cases and covers for you to consider.
